This wild spice has a distinct vanilla flavor, ideal for pastry and dessert.
Sweet Clover is a wild plant that grows around Québec. Its small flowers, once dried, emit an aroma reminiscent of vanilla or tonka bean, with notes of almond, cherry and hay. We’ve even taken to calling it Boreal vanilla.
Our Sweet Clover flowers are harvested around the Laurentians in July. They’re then dried and sorted by hand.
Sweet Clover makes an incredible addition to creamy desserts. It’s also great in muffins, cakes, madeleines and any dessert with maple or lemon. Try infusing these little flowers into an herbal tea.
