Wonderful matched with soy sauce, ginger, shallots, sesame oil and fish sauce. Albeit unusual, the inclusion of Sansho pepper (Chopi in Korean) in a Korean spice blend, is traditional. Sansho has a unique freshness and its citrus notes beautifully enhance poultry, red meat, seafood and vegetables.
Because Sansho can burn easily, this blend is well suited for meats, slowly cooked at low temperature, or for; sautés, stir-fries, Korean grilling and other bulgogis. This blend is ready to use and is a delightful addition to mayonnaise or vinaigrettes.
