Cipâte is a legendary meat pie and the pride of northern Quebec. Lac Saint-Jean meat pies, known colloquially as Cipâte, generally consist of different wild meats and pork. They often incorporate cubes of meats such as moose, hare, partridge or pork with generous portions of potatoes and onions.
Our Cipâte Spice Blend is derived from a traditional recipe and hand blended in Montreal.
