Using salt harvested from the deep waters of the Saint-Lawrence estuary, this all-purpose product was created to highlight the properties of our Nordic and Quebec Boreal spices – as well as to elevate the flavour of meats, poultry, fish, seafood, and vegetables: in other words, it’s good on just about everything!
The inclusion of wild porcini mushrooms from Gaspe and seaweed from the Saint Lawrence, infuses the salt with a generous dose of umami, whereas the maple sugar harmoniously blends the unique flavours of this Nordic salt, which is composed almost entirely of local aromatics.
Our Nordic spiced salt is ideal in sauces, roast potatoes, braised vegetables, or on grilled or stir-fried meats.
