Paneer is a pressed cheese that is extremely popular in India. It’s often cubed before it’s cooked with spices, usually in a sauce but sometimes with just vegetables like spinach or peas. This blend was developed to make shahi paneer, a royal dish with a creamy sauce made from saffron and nuts. It can also be used for lamb or vegetable curry.
