A delicate and herbaceous green tea, with subtle notes of seaweed. An infusion laden with antioxidants.
Sencha is undoubtedly the most popular tea in Japan and its most exported. This tea is cultivated in the prefecture of Kagoshima, on the island of Kyushu, in the southernmost part of the country. Its iodine-rich yet slightly sweet fragrance enhances the great finesse of this tea.
Sencha Kagoshima should not be over infused, nor steeped using exceptionally hot water as this will make the tea too bitter.
