Fines herbes Mashed Potatoes

A classic side dish, improved with a touch of French fine herbs.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs yellow potatoes
- Salt
- 1 cup milk
- 6 Tbsp butter
- ½ tsp grated nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground white pepper
- 2 Tbsp fine herbs for salad

Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Add salt.

Bring to a boil and cook potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain.

Heat milk over medium-low heat.

Mash potatoes until smooth. Add milk, butter, nutmeg, pepper and herbs. Mix well, taste and add salt if needed.
