Vanilla Butter

Vanilla Butter

This butter is an amazing dip when served with whole lobsters. It’s equally delicious with crab.

Ingredients

½ cup 35% cream


1 vanilla bean


½ lb (225 gr) cold, un-salted butter, cubed


Salt to taste

Method

  1. 1 Place the cream in a small pan.
  2. 2

    Cut the vanilla bean in two, lengthwise and add it to the pan.

    Bring to a boil, remove from the heat and let rest for 20 minutes.

    Boil once again, then add the butter one cube at a time, mixing thoroughly until homogeneous.
