Xi Ni Pek Salsa
In Maya, xi ni pek means “the nose and tongue of the dog.” All you need to do is taste it and you’ll have a panting tongue and runny nose just like a dog!
Ingredients
- ½ cup tomatoes, diced
- ½ cup red onion, diced
- 2 habanero chilies, minced fine
- ¼ cup bitter orange juice or vinegar
- ½ tsp sea salt
